Carmen L Lopez, LMHC, M. Ed., School Adjustment Counselor

Carmen is a licensed clinician who completed a dual LMHC/School Adjustment Counselor counseling program at Cambridge College in 2017. Over the past 8 years, she has built a solid career as an adjustment counselor, specializing in supporting young adults as they navigate the transition into adulthood. In addition to her full-time role as an adjustment counselor, Carmen has worked part-time as a clinician, where she has focused on empowering individuals to overcome challenges and develop healthy coping strategies.

Her clinical areas of focus include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Informed Care, couples therapy, family and child counseling, as well as work with adolescents, young adults, veterans, and individuals dealing with immigration-related mental health concerns.

Throughout her career, Carmen has remained committed to working closely with families, particularly in addressing educational concerns and fostering positive patterns that support both academic success and emotional well-being. She takes great care in helping families understand and address the unique needs of students, ensuring a holistic approach that integrates emotional and educational support.

In addition to her work with individuals and families, Carmen works extensively with couples, fostering strong relationships built on empathy, understanding, and mutual respect. Her approach to couples therapy emphasizes active listening, compassion, and collaboration, guiding couples toward healthier communication and more harmonious relational dynamics.

Day’sha Ramsey, MS LMHC

Day’sha Ramsey is a licensed mental health counselor that has been practicing for over 7 years with extensive training in working with children and families. She is certified in Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality, and is adding on certifications in Christian based Therapy.

Additionally, Day’sha looks forward to the advancement of society and human growth and development. She is a continuous learner and strives to be proficient and productive in every endeavor. She believes in healing through God, therapeutic intervention, and self- care. Day’sha is always happy to carefully utilize and cherish our precious commodity of time.

Shawn C. King, LMHC, M.Ed.

Shawn believes that we all exhibit the belief that life can be challenging, and navigating its twists and turns can often leave us feeling adrift in chaos and uncertainty. However, he firmly believes that within this turbulence lies a wellspring of inspiration and resilience unique to our own personal experiences.

By reshaping and sharing our narratives, we can find our true path and tap into our untapped potential. Shawn’s desire is to work together to cultivate resilience and strength, uncovering the best version of you.

Faith Sarisley, BA

As a graduate of Central Connecticut State University, Faith has earned a Bachelor of Arts in Honors Strategic Communication with a concentration in Organizational Communication. In school, she was inducted into the CCSU Chapter of the Communication Honor Society, Lambda Pi Eta. She also completed an internship at the Office of Victim Advocacy on campus which taught her great lessons on building community, marketing, and helping others. Her previous job as building manager at the Recreation Center on campus has also provided her with new tools in leadership and problem solving, as well as how physical wellness contributes to mental health.

Faith has always been passionate about the importance of mind and body wellness and is looking forward to furthering her service to the community through her knowledge of strategic communication and marketing!

Cynthia A. Swan

Cynthia is a committed community leader and mental health professional. She has an outstanding reputation of helping others and has years of experience working within both the faith community and within the community at large providing a myriad of counseling and mental health services. Cynthia believes that everyone deserves to live their best life, and sometimes it will take a therapist/counselor to get us there.

Cynthia is knowledgeable in evidenced-based practices and has training and experience with individual, family, and group therapy approaches utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, and Christian Counseling. She continues to stay abreast of new approaches/modalities and interventions in the mental health field. Cynthia has experience treating clients and groups with anxiety, depression, anger and low self esteem. She also has extensive experience working with adults with domestic violence, substance abuse recovery, single parenting, racial trauma, and other related backgrounds.

Cynthia has held both administrative supervisory and clinical positions. She has a Bachelor’s degree from Springfield College, a Master’s degree from American International College, and a Master’s of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy from Springfield College. Cynthia currently is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Massachusetts

Jennifer L. Rosario, MSW, LICSW

Jennifer is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with over 20 years of experience in a variety of clinical settings. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Family Studies from Messiah College, then graduated with her MSW from Springfield College School of Social Work in 2006. She has worked with children and teens in outpatient clinics and residential treatment settings, as well as offering mental health consultation to parents and childcare providers. She has also worked with adults, including those struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma-related symptoms, complicated grief, chronic illness/disability, and other challenges.

Jennifer has completed specialized training related to complex trauma and attachment issues, and her passion is supporting families to form strong, healthy relationships that promote positive outcomes for children. This passion extends beyond child-focused interventions and may include couples/family therapy to improve communication, strengthen marriages, and/or support effective co-parenting arrangements. Jennifer has been trained in multiple therapy models, and most often uses an eclectic approach, adapting her interventions according to the needs and preferences of each client.

Jennifer explains, “Leading with empathy, I seek to fully understand each person’s situation and experience, and offer a ‘no shame, no blame’ approach to clients and the issues that brought them to therapy. Starting in the first session, I ask questions and listen carefully to clarify factors contributing to a person’s challenges, and to highlight strengths and resources that can help the client reach their goals.”

She offers daytime and some evening appointments, in person and/or by teletherapy. She encourages new clients to start by attending in-person sessions to establish a strong therapeutic connection. In person therapy is also recommended for children, and she often encourages parents/caregivers of young children to participate in some sessions.

Fiona Kaul-Connolly

Fiona obtained her MSW from Simmons College School of Social Work in 2006 and has worked in a variety of settings including community mental health, hospitals and private practice. She is particularly passionate about working with women and helping clients to integrate their faith into the therapy for optimal healing and management of mood and behaviors. Using a non-judgmental, compassionate approach, Fiona tailors the treatment to the individual client’s needs using a variety of approaches including ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), Psychodynamic insight, Relational therapy, and faith-integrated Narrative Therapy. The issues she has had the most success in addressing have been anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship issues, parenting challenges, living with chronic illnesses and recovery from trauma.

Fiona is currently counseling via Telehealth only.

Rayanne M. Neveu

Rayanne is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who focuses on working with individuals, couples and families. “Families are just so important to individual health and development. I appreciate the opportunity to bring hope into challenging situations and help each family unit grow in its support of its members,” says Rayanne.

She graduated from Springfield College and received her Master’s Degree in Counseling from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary. She is trained in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, SYMBIS (Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts) and TF-CBT (Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy).

Rayanne has served over two decades in church-based youth, family and marriage ministry programs. She and her husband of thirty plus years, have four adult children. This life experience informs her counseling approach as she assists clients at all life stages move towards individual goals and relationship health.

Rayanne advocates for couples or family therapy to address the challenges of behavioral and emotional issues such as: parenting and family dynamics (between parent and child/teen), the couple relationship, and building supportive connections between school, medical, work and community resources – especially during a crisis or life stage transition. With this type of counseling, there is often special  focus on treating anxiety, depression, ADHD, conflict, adjustments and trauma.

Maggie Leone, MPA, PHR, SHRM-CP

Maggie Leone is a certified human resource professional through the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI). She has worked in the human resource field in various capacities for many years. Much of her experience is in the non-profit human service sector.

Maggie worked at Gandara Center for 15 years as a HR Generalist. She was in charge of employee training, payroll, benefits, onboarding, recruiting and leave management. More recently, she was the Associate Director of Human Resources at The Children’s Study Home where she was responsible for all aspects of the Human Resource Department.

Maggie received her Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Business Management from Elms College in Chicopee, MA, and her Master’s in Public Administration (MPA) from Clark University in Worcester, MA. She is a member of the Human Resource Management Association of MA. (HRMA)

Maggie is a member of First Baptist Church in East Longmeadow. She has been involved in prison ministry for the past 15 years.

Jennifer Allen

Jennifer holds her Personal Training Certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. She is also certified in Life, Mental Health and Trauma Informed Coaching through The American Association of Christian Counselors, and is Live Well Certified with Revelation Wellness. She has also been certified and trained in many health and fitness disciplines including Arthritis, Cancer, sports nutrition, and behavioral change. Along the way, Jennifer has developed worksite wellness programs for her local YMCA providing guidance and leadership.

As a health and trauma-informed coach, She believes in the transformative power of holistic well-being. Her approach integrates physical health, emotional resilience, and spiritual growth, recognizing that true wellness requires addressing the whole person. With specialized training in trauma-informed care, Jennifers understands how past experiences can impact an individual’s health journey, and she will create a safe, supportive environment for healing and growth.

Jennifer is passionate about guiding clients to break free from limiting beliefs and cultivate sustainable habits. Her focus is on empowerment; she does help individuals set and achieve realistic goals while fostering self-compassion and resilience.
