Alex Rivera-Fernandez

Alex provides counseling to individuals experiencing psychiatric disability, dual diagnosis, substance abuse, addiction, isolation and trauma, among others. Services delivered from a multicultural competence perspective through the Wraparound Framework and Systems of Care Philosophy to a broad spectrum of ethnic backgrounds.

He has Post-doctoral Re-specialization in Psychology with an emphasis in health psychology, substance abuse and addiction and clinical pastoral counseling. Alex specializes in emotional distress, psychiatric disability, dual diagnosis, substance abuse and addiction, trauma, and serious emotional disturbances.

Alex is an ordained minister of pastoral care and Licensed Clinical Pastoral Counselor with Advanced Certification in specialties such as clinical pastoral counseling, domestic violence, crisis-and-abuse, marital and premarital counseling, therapeutic mediation and conflict resolution.  *Now a certified Prepare/Enrich Facilitator

Tracy L. Jones Ed.D, LPC, LMHC

Dr. Jones is a member of the leadership team at CrossPoint and is the site manager for the Worcester, Stoughton and Dedham offices. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in MA, RI and NH as well as a Licensed Professional Counselor in CT. She graduated from Lesley University with a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology in 1997, graduated from Liberty University with a Doctoral Degree in 2019 and has completed a 2-year program to be a Spiritual Director. She has provided consultation for church leaders and members; provided mental health and spiritual formation workshops and retreats for churches, presents at conferences and has published research, worked as a clinician, licensure supervisor and director as well as an adjunct professor.

Tracy works with individuals and couples from diverse backgrounds with a variety of mental health concerns. Her style is strengths-based, with a Christian perspective. She utilizes Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, introspective, and faith-based approaches to help clients heal from trauma, abuse and loss, anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, and relationship problems. She believes that compassion and hope are the essential elements for creating an environment in every session in which change can occur, and resiliency and recovery can flourish.

She has received certifications in mindfulness, Trauma-Focused CBT, SYMBIS, Prepare/Enrich, Gottman Level I, EMDR and advanced training in Christian integrative approaches. As a trainer of LivingWorks programs, she is available to teach a 3-hour suicide prevention course or a 2-day suicide intervention course to groups large or small. As a Prepare/Enrich Trainer, she is available to teach a certification course to prepare clinicians or church leaders/members to facilitate and utilize the Prepare/Enrich assessment with couples.
